This 3D-Printed Freeform House Maximizes Curb Appeal

WATG Urban Architecture Studio recently won a design competition for its proposal for this 3D-printed home.

The home will be entitled 'Curve Appeal' and is a large arching building that is comprised of panels that "create an exterior skin and interior core." A construction company that mixes plastic and carbon fibre will have its unique process utilized for this 3D-printed home. While the house will be relatively small in size -- between 600 and 800 feet -- it will have all the amenities of most single-family homes. The beautiful and modern home will be more cost-effective than other traditional construction methods.

This 3D-printed home proposal uses architectural design and construction processes in a completely new way and the result will be a futuristic home that will pave the way for other ventures of its kind.
