Iris Van Herpen Has Created a Stunning 3D-Printed Collection

For this fall runway, Iris Van Herpen not only created a magnetic grown dress, but she also made an incredible 3D-printed collection to go along with it.

The accents on the dress, at the collar and at the hem, have spiked purple, pink and blue printed pieces. She has also created an amazing printed necklace. Van Herpen worked in collaboration with Isaie Bloch who assisted her with the 3D process. She then overlaid the printed pieces with a white transparent material, and used this material in order to guarantee that the printed pieces would be visible. They were the perfect accent to an already ingenious runway. Iris Van Herpen and her 3D-printed collection were a true representation of haute couture, and it will be exciting to see what she comes up with next.
