Honda's Off the Grid Ad Lets Users Control Their Virtual Experiences

Off the Grid is a unique 360º interactive experience created by Honda for the launch of the 2012 Honda Civic. The video uses the language and navigation of Google's Street View, but takes users to unique environments most people will never get a chance to see.

By moving their cursors, viewers can venture into the unknown and explore the spectacular Antelope Canyon, an Alaskan glacier and even travel off the edge of Marble Canyon in Arizona. A number of locations offer one-of-a-kind views; you can travel through a previously unexplored Alaskan ice cave, or visit an underwater museum where the marine life is growing so rapidly, the sculptures won't be visible in the near future.

The use of 360º video is a unique and creative way to promote a brand.
