The 2023 Kia Sportage PHEV Offers 32-Miles of Electric Range

The 2023 Kia Sportage PHEV (plug-in hybrid vehicle) has been shown off by the brand as its upcoming SUV for the North American market that will provide drivers with access to impressive fuel economy and more.

The vehicle is equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo gas engine combined with a 66.9kW electric motor along with a 13.8kWh lit-poly battery that all connect to the six-speed automatic transmission. The AWD-standard vehicle is estimated to provide drivers with 32-miles of electric driving range to make it perfect for getting around town on short trips, while regenerative braking will also help with preventing energy loss.

The 2023 Kia Sportage PHEV will come in two trims including the X-Line PHEV AWD and X-Line Prestige PHEV AWD, which will both feature standard LED headlights and taillights along with ample technology in the cabin.
