New Balance's 2002R Protection Pack Grows with Concepts

New Balance gets a slew of new additions to its ongoing 2002R Protection Pack with the help of Concepts this time around. The lifestyle sneakers get four colorway options, adding burnt orange, navy blue, olive green, and pearly off-white to the roster. The series was first seen in 2021, delivering deconstructed elements without compromising the premium quality of the sneaker.

The new upgrades include ripstop nylon materials that are applied to the shoes in place of the traditional mesh underlays and the seamless toggle laces that detail the forefoot. However, the uppers are still made from soft suede materials that are complete with jagged edges to appear as if they have been worn in. The new colorways will be exclusively available at Concepts' website, and at the NY and Boston stores on September 21st before a global launch.
