Levi's 1917 Homer Campbell 501 Tells the Story of Durable Denim

In celebration of the 150th anniversary of its iconic 501 jeans, Levi's created the 1917 Homer Campbell 501 style based on the story of a hard-working Arizona miner. In 1920, Homer Campbell reached out to Levi Strauss & Co. in the hopes that the company would live up to the promise of providing a new free pair in response to rips. The miner sported his Levi's 501s six days of week for three years, and the rugged garment was heavily patched up, stitched and modified to meet the demands of his daily grind.

When Campbell returned his jeans, they became the first pair ever sent back to Levi’s under its guarantee, and this story is now expressed through a limited-edition, faithful reproduction.
