Kadam Morten attended university in England before he began seriously practising meditation. He is now the Resident Teacher at the Kadampa Meditation Center New York City, and the Vajra Light Buddhist Center in White Plains. He was given the title Kadam by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, indicating his experience as a teacher of the Kadampa Tradition. Morten's calm and straightforward advice is inspirational and effective.
Employees often believe that work-related stress bases its foundation in the boss. He argues that your psyche may have trained you to become uptight or anxious when simply hearing your boss' voice. This trigger is nonsensical, and has been created by your own brain. He explains that it is not your boss who stresses you out, but you. Confronting what is truly giving your life weight will allow you to better filter and free your life from stress.
