ZLINE Kitchen and Bath has introduced its patented DuraMount Range Hood Inserts — a new line of wall-mounted ventilation units designed to address the significant installation challenges associated with custom range hood enclosures, which often involve heavy components, complex alignment, and structural modifications.
ZLINE Kitchen and Bath's DuraMount platform features a rigid, folded-steel frame with reinforced triangle supports and staggered, overlapping mounting points that align with standard 16-inch-on-center framing. This eliminates the need for additional internal bracing. A patented hanging design allows installers to level screws first and then slide the insert onto pre-set keyholes, which dramatically simplifies the mounting process and reduces the need for multiple installers.
Available in four sizes from 28 to 46 inches, the DuraMount Range Hood Inserts accommodate custom hood enclosures ranging from 30 to 48 inches, with smaller models featuring a 500 CFM motor and larger ones utilizing a 700 CFM dual-motor system.
