Zalando is Growing Zircle, Its Resale Fashion Platform

Zalando has announced that it will be growing Zircle, a service that allows consumers to conveniently access pre-owned fashion at a fraction of the cost.

As a part of the expansion, the German company will be bringing Zircle to Sweden and Denmark, and plans to "extend the life of 50 million fashion items by 2023 through circular initiatives." After first launching in Berlin, Zalando brought its circular fashion resale service to consumers in Spain, France, Belgium, Poland, and the Netherlands.

In line with the recent expansion, the company is also working towards using recyclable packing for all of its orders so that it can reduce the environmental impact caused by plastic packaging. It plans to fully transition to paper packaging by 2023.
