Futuristic Boho Fashion

There is a futuristic undertone to the otherwise feminine and subtly bohemian fashion making up the Zimmermann Resort 2014 collection that many might miss at first glance. The use of molten metallics and tribal-esque crocheted fabrics is what gives this impression. Nevertheless, the line was inspired by such movies as 'Badlands' and 'Picnic at Hanging Rock,' which also explains the slight prairie influence.

Of the Zimmermann Resort 2014 collection, designer Nicky Zimmermann notes that it is "loosely based on the classic tale of a good girl falling for a bad boy." This is reflected in the feminine silhouettes that have been given a slight sensual twist. The latter of which is seen in plunging necklines, crop tops and more.
