Karfidov lab designs the Formula Polestar for the future

Zero-emissions race cars will hopefully soon be a thing as "the electrification wave is slowly taking over the Formula-1 ranks." The racing organization has also planned to be "Net Zero Carbon by the end of 2030." Many designers are diligently working on technology that will support this sustainable goal and there have been some strides —one of them is "the development of 100% sustainable fuel that’s slated for the 2026 season."

Karfidov Lab is shortlisted in the Polestar Design Contest 2022 with its Formula Polestar, a true vehicle proposal for the zero-emissions race car. The design is slick, futuristic, and described to look like a "worthy descendant of the current generation Formula-1 and Formula-E racers."
