The Zano Drone is Designed to Capture Selfies and Videos

The Zano drone is a miniature drone that is designed to fly around and take pictures and videos.

The drone weighs only 55 grams and can be charged via Micro USB while still inside the drone or externall through an included adapter. It can fly for 10-15 minutes within a range of 15 to 20 meters. It captures photos at 5 megapixels and video at 720p. Future software updates will likely result in the Zano being able to capture 1080p video at 60 frames per second.

The Zano drone is currently the subject of a Kickstarter campaign. An early pledge of $219 will get you a drone of your own if and when the campaign hits its fundraising target, with shipping to take place in June 2015.
