Tarquin’s Yuzu and Lime Gin Gives Traditional Gin an Exotic Edge

Tarquin’s Yuzu and Lime Gin is a limited-edition expression that was created after inspiration hit founder and master distiller Tarquin Leadbetter while experimenting with these flavors during chef training at Le Cordon Bleu. Thanks to the integration of the citrus fruits, the gin spirit is said to have an "exotic edge" that sets itself apart from other expressions.

The gin spirit is said to have notes of wild pomelo, cherry blossom and candied lime with yuzu, orange blossom and soft juniper on the palate. Leadbetter says ""Yuzu is such a remarkable fruit, this very special gin makes an outstanding gin and tonic or yuzu Spritz garnished with fresh mint and cucumber."

Yuzu has quickly become the citrus fruit of the summer and it is being integrated into a wide range of food and beverage creations.
