Microsoft's 'Your Phone' App Will Now Sync Calls to Mobile Devices

Microsoft's Windows 11 operating system is receiving an array of updates, including better mobile integration through its 'Your Phone' application. Currently, Your Phone works on Windows 10 and Windows 11 to allow access to some mobile services through one's personal computer. In an upcoming update, Your Call will receive a new window that displays in-progress calls on connected mobile devices.

In addition to this, Microsoft has also remodeled the Your Call application to better suit Windows 11's overall theme, whereas the application was previously catered to Windows 10's design. On top of this, the company is upgrading the volume indicator on its operating system, which has remained unchanged since the earliest days of Windows 8 in 2012. The decade-old volume indicator is a black box that appears in the top-left of the screen when changing the volume with an external device or in the bottom-right system tray when changing the volume directly through clicking. The new design for this volume indicator will feature the bright silver and blue colors that define Windows 11's image, and the volume bar will be placed in the bottom center above the taskbar.
