Gold Plated Lookbooks

The Young Frankk Spring/Summer 2013 Collection is Gilded

The Young Frankk Spring/Summer 2013 lookbook showcases a series of exceptionally gilded accessories. Bound within its seasonal advertisements are plates of gold, displayed in a dainty manner here via ivory ropes and loosely hanging chains.

Christine Young is the designer behind Young Frankk. Her advertisements are for the most part muted, revealing light ivory and peach tones by way of the models. She proves in this way that little is needed to accentuate her Spring/Summer 2013 collection as it instead stands out all on its own.

Quality is also central to Young's project as she used intricate production techniques, "Each corded necklace and bracelet is hand braided with tan satin cording using a Japanese braiding technique called Kumihimo."
