The Yoshioka Snowflake Exhibit Brings the Cool to Milan

If you thought see-through furniture was cool, you haven't really seen it until you've seen how transparent furniture has been enveloped by the Yoshioka Snowflake Exhibit. Tokujin Yoshioka, the designer behind the furniture line 'The Invisibles,' brought his latest collection to Milan Design Week, in which he completely surrounded the ultra modern pieces with hundreds of transparent plastic sticks.

Simulating a gorgeous wintery scene, the Yoshioka Snowflake Exhibit was made to look even more spectacular thanks to the panels of halogen lights underneath the exhibit. The main premise behind this installation is that our society is constantly being flooded with design and form, so Yoshioka created a structure that transcends both.
