Yoni Lefevre's project entitled 'Grey Power' is a photo series that not only looks cool but is one that has a positive message behind it as well.
Children are unencumbered with any negative social conditioning towards seniors and are therefore the perfect candidates to help us see the world better. In 'Grey Power' Yoni Lefevre selected four children aged 10 to 11 to draw their grandparents. Rather than draw them as enfeebled, they instead drew them as enthusiastic and able bodied individuals able to multitask and play sports.
Our society has a tendency to view the elderly in an unfavorable light. Yoni Lefevre disagrees with this view and hopes that 'Grey Power' will help us to see the elderly in a better way.
