Yannis Kanelis Creates the JOD01 Sound System with Various Items

Yannis Kanelis has created the JOD01 Sound System with a variety of found objects. According to DesignBoom, "the device is capable of functioning as a multitrack recorder, with playback and sound mixing. Generating musical notes by using special audio peripheral components, the product creates a series of different tunes."

One of the goals of this project, presented at a TEDx event in Athens, was to show how humans tampering with certain technological items can product varying results. Human contact and adjustments open up a world of possibilities when it comes to interacting with certain items.
