The Sony Xperia Agent is Outfitted with Ingenious Features & Personality

Showcased at MWC 2016, the Sony Xperia Agent is a personal assistant unlike any other bots currently on the market.

This small gadget is outfitted with a rotating camera as well as the necessary parts that allow the robot to rotate on the spot. The Xperia Agent has been designed to compete with the likes of Amazon's Echo personal assistant, which was just launched late last year. Sony's latest device uses a built-in camera to access facial recognition while it is also able to provide notifications about appointments, reminders, weather and more.

When it comes to communication, the Xperia Agent utilizes a small projector that is capable of showing imagery on a desktop surface in front of where users position the device, while offering an interactive interface that users can touch or modify as required.
