The North Shore Ocean Fest Celebrates World Oceans Day

In honor of World Oceans Day, Hawaii's Turtle Bay Resort held its 5th annual North Shore Ocean Fest. Designed to raise awareness about the plight of the world's oceans, the event combined aquatic education with food, games and entertainment.

This year's North Shore Ocean Fest was held on Saturday, June 4th, just ahead of World Oceans Day. The event consisted of educational sessions that taught people of all ages about the oceans and the importance of global conservation. In addition to the educational component, the event also included food, games, films and crafts to get attendees excited about marine conservation. Attendees were also asked to make a donation to the North Shore Ocean Education Coalition.

With more consumers interested in conservation, the event provided a great opportunity for eco-conscious individuals to learn more about how they can help protect our oceans.
