This To-Scale Wooden Motorcycle Sculpture is Incredibly Life-Like

This wooden motorcycle might not run, but it is an extraordinary replication of the IZH-49 model. Created out of wood by the insanely skilled Russian carpenter Yuri Hvtisishvili, this intricate sculpture looks exactly the real thing with all its parts and details.

Each of the parts were carved out of wood and then assembled to create the full wooden motorcycle. This includes the sculpted engine, frame, tires and wheels. Featured on the Soviet Moto blog, this incredibly realistic sculptor serves as inspiration for other carpenters and a point of interest for motorcycle enthusiasts. The to-scale piece looks real enough to ride, incorporating every superficial detail from logos to storage space. The sculpture also includes a stand since it is not actually a motorcycle.
