Floating Wooden Beam Auditoriums

March Studios Has Reworked Wood to Make a Cool Wooden Auditorium

This wooden auditorium isn't just made of wood, it's completely filled up with it. March Studio has taken various pieces of wood from different places and made an exhibit with "floating" pieces of wood.

What does one do with 2,000 random pieces of wood? They fill a massive space with it and make a wooden auditorium. Designers from Melbourne, March Studio, took 2,000 pieces of wood and suspended it in the air to create a sort of frozen, floating plank display.

No two pieces of wood are the same and they come from all over the place, from basketball courts to houses. They also come polished or unpolished but when looking at the whole display at once, none of that matters. It looks like a wooden cabin exploded and froze directly in front of the viewer.
