The Canon DSLR Mock-Up

This is a wonderful, very detailed wood mock-up of a Canon DSLR camera. The type of material used is called balsa wood, which is a very light but strong kind of wood which can be carved and molded very easily with standard wood carving tools.

The pieces of wood of varying thickness were glued together until the desired result, a mock-up Canon DSLR, was achieved. The Canon website shows step-by-step instructions if you're inclined to make one for yourself.
