This New Wonder Girl Statue Makes Crime Fighting Fierce

DC Comics has announced the release of a new Wonder Girl statue for the Ame-Comi Heroine line of anime-inspired figurines. Standing roughly 8.25 inches tall, and designed by Sanford Green and sculpted by Jonathan Matthews, this statue depicts the lovely statuesque Cassie (Cassandra) Sandsmark outfitted in a stylish, crime-fighting uniform.

Wonder Girl is seen posing in a red and yellow bra top and blue and yellow bikini bottoms with matching chaps. The western-themed outfit also carries Wonder Woman’s star motif and Cassie holds a magic lasso in her hand. A youthful teenage spin-off of Wonder Woman, Wonder Girl has had three incarnations, including Wonder Woman herself. Cassie Sandsmark is the third incarnation of the character and she stands out her with her long golden blonde hair and sassy pose, reminiscent of anime magical girls like Sailor Moon.
