Speedy 3D-Printed Houses

Winsun New Materials in China Creates 10 Abodes in 24 Hours

Winsun New Materials is a construction company based in China that recently put together 10 houses in less than 24 hours, all while using 3D-printed material. The houses are made from concrete, which was put together through mashing up old industrial material and waste from construction sites. Not only is this design speedy to make, but it's also good for the environment.

While the homes are quite modest, it's still incredible that Chinese company Winsun New Materials managed to put these together in such a short span of time. Because the design was done using these waste materials and 3D printed for efficiency, the homes are mostly one level, and don't have any insulation. However, this shouldn't be too hard to add after the basic structure is put in place. Photo Credits: designboom, archdaily
