Merging old photographs back with their original locations, a photo collection called 'Window to the Past' by Kerényi Zoltán brings the past forward to the present day.
Zoltán used vintage photographs that came from the time period between 1900 and 1990 and overlayed them with his own captures. The artist made sure to align the two photos with each other exactly in order to augment the effect. The photos share many of the same structural characteristics such that you can clearly see that the picture was taken at that location. However, the photos strongly contrast on factors such as fashion, technology and design.
The seamless merging of the pictures allows you to easily compare how different automobiles and clothing is now.
