'WildLife Selfies' Promotes National Geographic's Collection of Nature Photos

The 'WildLife Selfies' campaign, created by Brazil-based stock photo agency Diomedia, is an effort to promote the National Geographic Collection of animal photos. In a world where people are obsessed with taking self-shots and posting them on social media, it's easy to forget about the beautiful nature and animals around us. National Geographic takes shots beyond the selfie of nature and all of its animals.

The series is digitally manipulated to imagine wild animals taking selfies of themselves. Wild animals, which include a panda, a koala, a gorilla, a bear and kangaroo are depicted holding up their smartphones and taking selfies like humans do: in the bathroom, in the bedroom or in an elevator.

"Even during "selfies" and "Instagram" fever, decent images can still be produced."
