Boars as Crash Test Dummies

Germany's Wild Boar Crash Tests are Not 'Lion King'-Friendly

Wild boar crash tests are my new favorite type of crash tests. Germany roads have been plagued with wild boars, strutting their stuff in front of cars. Europe's largest auto club, the ADAC, conducted these quirky crash tests to see what the best course of action was when facing off against a pesky Pumba.

Bad news Pumba--the best course of action, according to the wild boar crash tests, was to try and stop, if you can. The tests declared that swerving to avoid the boars was more dangerous than actually hitting them. Ouch. Mufasa won't like this news one bit.
