Whyte's Newest 'E-160' Bike has a 250w Motor and a Full-Size Frame

Whyte debuted its newest electric mountain bike, the Whyte E-160. This is a redefined version of the brand's previous electric bicycles with a new focus on stability and comfort. Whyte achieved a more stable design by remodeling the frame to place the center of gravity at a lower point, just in front of the rear wheel. Additionally, the battery is hidden within the front frame, allowing the weight from the battery to help stabilize the bike.

The Whyte E-160 boasts a 250Wh motor that delivers adjustable levels of pedal assistance, which is powered by a 750Wh battery. This means, that while the range may vary based on the level of pedal assistance used, the bike will deliver at least three hours of range while using the full power of the motor. One additional notable aspect of the Whyte E-160 is its frame, as the bike comes with full support for 29-inch wheels.
