Tennis Star Cereal Boxes

Serena Williams is Getting Her Own Wheaties Box

Serena Williams is about to join a number of other all-star athletes by gracing the cover of the latest Wheaties box. This will make her the first tennis player on the box since 2004, and the fourth female tennis player to be featured. Williams is also the second black female tennis player to ever to grace the Wheaties packaging.

Just today, Williams and General Mills announced that Serena would be featured on the new Wheaties box. As one of the most decorated tennis players of all time, the news comes as no surprise. As Serena explained in a press release from General Mills: "I have dreamt of this since I was a young woman and it’s an honor to join the ranks of some of America’s most decorated athletes. I hope my image on this iconic orange box will inspire the next generation of girls and athletes to dream big."
