CSI's 'What the Heck is Social Innovation?' Feature Tells a Story

Created by Michael Krauss and Lhara Eben, the Centre for Social Innovation's (CSI) recent video called "What the Heck is Social Innovation?" asks a question many of us couldn't answer ourselves. The feature was created in part as a celebration for the organization's 10-year anniversary. Founded in Toronto, CSI now has a location on the west side of New York City.

Their are many different faces featured here and the definition, of course, depends on each individual, organization and cause. But what is the answer that they come up with? "Social innovation refers to the creation, development, adoption and integration of new and renewed concepts and practices that put people and the planet first," they write on the YouTube description. "We can all be a part of the solution. Because it's up to us."
