In a press release regarding the collection, Weekday’s Responsible Denim Designer Per Axen stated ""For us, this isn’t a one-off – we are now looking at how we can be more efficient and responsible within all our design practices." The collection is comprised of just two items, both of which are 100 % biodegradable and recyclable. What's more is that 20% of the cotton used was sourced from pre-used waste material. The line is comprised of a pair of jeans and a demin jacket.
