The Water Drop Library is a new, stylish, and rather unconventionally designed library. It is located on a hillside above Shuangyue Bay near Huizhou City in China's Guangdong Province.
The White Drop Library was designed by Chinese studio 3andwich Design who embraced a minimalist white palette with modernist sensibilities. The building contains two distinct parts, including a circular structure that connects to a long white wall. The books are located in the circular volume, slotted in shelving that is integrated into the internal wall. 3andwich Design installed floor-to-ceiling windows, as well, to reveal breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and the sea. The building is also topped with a circular pool, which is rather unexpected for an establishment of this type.
