Amazon Will Complete Temperature Checks on Warehouse Employees

Amazon is now taking more precautionary measures with its warehouse employees, including temperature checks, and surgical masks. Employees with a temperature of over 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit will not be working that day and will be required to not have a fever for three days before they are eligible to return. The e-commerce giant will ensure these precautions are followed by warehouse employees in the United States and Europe. Other measures will include isolating employees who have been exposed to the virus for 14 days and ramping up sanitation initiatives.

The added precautions will help to ensure that Amazon can remain operational during a time of peak demand. This is because many people stuck at home are relying on e-commerce and other delivery services to get household essentials.
