Charlotte Austen and Jack Munro have done the unthinkable in creating a model WWII plane, specifically a Spitfire war plane, out of 6,500 egg cartons. Piecing this together was no easy task. It took 5,000 nails, 10,000 staples and tons of wood, steel, glue, paint, foam and canvas.
This incredible feat took place over the course of six weeks -- creating this battle of Britain fighter is surely something they can truly be proud of. This unique piece has been created to help raise funds for the 'Help For Heroes' event on March 4th. The charity helps service men, women and veterans who have sustained life changing injuries and illnesses. So far, Eggs for soldiers has raised over $650,000 to help war heroes.
