This London Bar Lets Guests Absorb Alcoholic Mist

The Alcoholic Architecture bar functions as a walk-in cocktail -- simply walk in and you will breathe in a cloud of alcoholic mist, resulting in alcohol being absorbed into your bloodstream via the lungs and eyes. The bar is designed by Bombas & Parr and is described as "the world’s first alcoholic weather system for your tongue, where meteorology and mixology collide."

The walk-in cocktail was originally introduced back in 2009 but has undergone further development. Based on the site of an ancient monastery in London's Borough Market, the bar's drinks list will solely comprise beers and spirits created by monks.

Guests wear a cape with a hood to protect their clothes and hair from getting damp. Meanwhile, humidifiers are used to super-saturate the air with a cloud of spirits and mixers.

The bar will open to the public on July 31 and will open for six months, with visitors sure to enjoy a truly memorable alcoholic experience.
