Walgreens Seniors Day Supports Safe & Supportive Shopping

Since the pandemic, Walgreens has found that seniors are less socially active and still concerned about getting sick, so Walgreens Seniors Day were created.

This new initiative was born out of The Walgreens COVID-19 Pulse Check1, a quantitative study commissioned by the healthcare retailer. More than 1,000 senior adults ages 55 and older in the United States were surveyed about their feelings about socializing after the pandemic. According to the study, research also shows that seniors miss going shopping or running errands and miss the feeling of being connected to their local community.

Walgreens Seniors Day is a monthly day for seniors and it provides a safe, accessible and supportive space for shoppers, plus discounts on eligible regular-priced merchandise.
