Glamorous and sexy, this W September 2013 photo shoot is all you need for a quick introduction into the world of burlesque.
Aptly titled 'Show Girl,' the editorial was shot by Steven Meisel and features models Carmen Carrera and Linda Evangelist. Bathed in tones of deep purple and blue but also with black and white images, the series exudes a brilliant amount of sensual energy. The sultry models show off their curves in glitter and feather-filled outfits while showing off their talents as natural performers. Stylist Edward Enninful makes sure the girls are seductive and playful, dressing them in body suits, feather head pieces and jeweled bustiers.
I've personally never been to any burlesque type show, but if this W September 2013 editorial is any indication of how fun it might be, I'm definitely sold.
