The 'C-Infinity' Platform is Designed to Evade VR Motion Sickness

VR platforms are emerging from seemingly every nook and cranny of the world these days, but the fact of the matter is that for all their innovations, these products haven't seemingly solved the ubiquitous problem of motion sickness and nausea that is caused by VR gaming in particular, a problem which the new 'C-Infinity' platform claims to solve.

Created by Texas-based NeuroSync Laboratories, the 'C-Infinity' VR platform requires users to carry out forward movements by pulling a pair of controllers from their armrest-placed arms, and move backward by pushing them forward. Turning can be carried out by rotating one's upper body in the desired direction of travel. NeuroSync states that these movements trigger the somatosensory cortex of the brain which is situated adjacent to the motor cortex, which is said to tackle motion sickness by effectively enabling the brain and body to be better synchronized.

Currently the subject of a Kickstarter campaign, the 'C-Infinity' VR platform can be reserved for a pledge of $799.
