The Volt Magazine Spring/Summer 2014 I'm Ready for My Close-Up editorial provides a cinematic look at model Kamila Filipcikova. Many of the pictures feature a series of film reel imagery, providing a sequential look at Filipcikova as she posed for photographer Ren Rox.
Working alongside Rox was stylist Kate Ruth. Ruth dressed Filipcikova in glamorous apparel fit for a 1920s production, seen in ruffled pieces and long flowing skirts. Make-up expert Jaimee Thomas followed suit with full dark red lips and glitter eyeshadow, making Filipcikova appear much like a Hollywood star from the flapper girl era.
The apparel featured is also appropriate for the present as Ruth incorporated a dark angular blazer, a piece that is certainly appropriate for contemporary settings.
