The vehicle maintains the original retro design of the Volkswagen Type 2, but is further equipped with snow tracks to make quick work of wintery conditions in the Alps. The chassis has been updated with an additional two more axles to accommodate a firm grip on uneven terrain, while the 1.2-liter flat-four engine provides 34-horsepower and supports a 35km/h top speed.

The Volkswagen Half-track Fox is appointed on the interior with beech and pine wood finishes to give it a durable yet rustic finish. The vehicle is well-suited for life in the demanding environment to support use in winter or summer conditions.
