Volkswagen Aqua Will Cope with the Changing Chinese Landscape

You've got your sports cars and trucks, your motorboats, yachts and personal jets, and the best elements of each come together in the Volkswagen Aqua concept. The curious-looking hovercraft was designed by 21-year-old Yuhan Zhang, an industrial design student of Xihua University, and it's not surprising to learn that the CDN Car Design Awards shortlisted her invention.

The aerodynamic appearance of the vehicle match the car manufacturer's smooth aesthetic, but the flat-nosed automotive takes on a form much more complementary to its role of coasting by means of air and over water.

The cutting-edge concept is hardly a stretch from the way one would use a motor vehicle, but snowy mountains, lakes and wetlands will no longer impose a impasse for anyone driving the Volkswagen Aqua.
