Juxtaposed Glamor Editorials

The Vogue Turkey Springtime Sam Rollinson Photoshoot Mixes Motifs

The most recent Vogue Turkey springtime editorial was produced by photographers Sean and Send. In the production, model Sam Rollinson interspersed elements of glamor with grungy undertones, making for an intriguing and highly fashionable juxtaposition.

Stylist Konca Aykan put together this set of unexpected ensembles. Paired with casino backdrops and images of clear blue skies was Aykan's use of formal black gowns, elegant beaded frocks, thin tube tops and fluffy fear throws.

In this series, Aykan proved that no matter the backdrop, stately apparel always has a role to play, even if it is featured in the most unusual of manners. Hair expert Cyndia Harvey further proved this point with a sleek, cropped coif, adding simple, relaxed elements to the striking apparel.
