Tough Chic Editorials

The Vogue Russie 'Roses and Spikes' Photoshoot Stars Tanya Katysheva

The Vogue Russie 'Roses and Spikes' editorial is all about the bad girl persona. Model Tanya Katysheva embraces her inner tough chic for the role with the help of editor Olga Dunina, who put together a wardrobe of biker jackets, ripped denim, plaid shirts and animal print mini skirts to get her into character.

Shot on location by photographer David Mushegain, the Vogue Russie 'Roses and Spikes' editorial could be considered more nonchalant than tough, however. An attitude that is still cohesive with the rocker and grunge mentality, the brunette beauty pulls it off admirably. Wearing bold colors and bolder prints all mixed up in eclectic layers, the looks were perfected by hair stylist Charles McNair and makeup artist Mélanie Inglessis.
