The Vogue Netherlands 'Gorgeous Sensuous' Shoot is Playful

The Vogue Netherlands 'Gorgeous Sensuous' editorial playfully experiments with different looks and themes.

Rather than sticking to glamorous and poised or wild and carefree, this photo shoot chooses to mix all of these different styles together for a fashion spread that's more fun than most. Model Frida Aasen looks like a real life Barbie, but instead of replicating the plastic doll's usual long locks, she mixes it up with an all-out afro. Photographers Blommers & Schlumm capture her in mod monochromatic ensembles as well as surrounded by nature. Each of the green-filled images is juxtaposed with a black and white one for a beautiful contrast between the organic and fabricated parts of life.
