White is a tricky color to wear because of how quickly it can get dirty, but when paired with black, this monochromatic duo is the perfect combo to prepare you for fall. In the editorial entitled ‘Dressing in Black and White,’ the focus is on how to pair these polar opposites. In the shoot the pictures were color blocked, solitary and patterned. Although the primary color was black, the pieces of white that were added was the perfect complement in order to brighten up the spread. The Vogue Japan 2013 August issue demonstrated that when paired with black, white could be your new ‘go-to’ color.
