The Art of Artificiality in Vogue Italia Beauty by Miles Aldridge

Playing on the idea of a bored corporate drone model, Charlotte Di Calypso is cast as a robotic office beauty for the latest edition of Vogue Italia Beauty by Miles Aldridge. Aldridge captured Di Calypso in a sea of beige, looking blankly afar while doing menial office tasks such as filing, copying and drinking from the water cooler.

Adding intrigue to this monochromatic world is the styling including the prominent use of hair bows. Lloyd Simmonds was in charge of turning Di Calypso's face into that of a plastic figurine and Cathy Kasterine put together the slick outfits.
