The Vogue China 'We Go Together' Shoot Focuses on a Love Triangle

The Vogue China 'We Go Together' editorial channels scenes from the 1950s. As though inspired by the movie 'Grease,' Olivia Newton-John's dual personality character is represented by two models, Wang Xiao and Lily Zhi, while John Travolta's Danny Zuko has been taken on by lucky male model Zhao Lei. The photo shoot portrays an interesting love triangle that sees Zhi juggling the goody two-shoes and wild child.

Shot by New York-based photographer Lincoln Pilcher for the March 2012 issue, the Vogue China We Go Together editorial features some very faithful renditions of 50s fashion. From cat-eye glasses to a-line skirts and leather biker jackets, stylist Morgan Pilcher managed to capture the era beautifully. She clad the Chinese models in pieces from such labels as Alexander Wang, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs and Calvin Klein.
