The Vlisco Delicate Shades Campaign is Stunningly Artistic

Vlisco has been designing and producing bright fashion fabrics since 1846 that, according to the brand's site, "form an essential part of the lively West and Central African culture," and the Vlisco Delicate Shades ad campaign is the brand's most recent body of work.

The Vlisco Delicate Shades campaign is the result of a collaboration with fashion illustrator Sabine Pieper and was photographed by James Powel.

Sabine Pieper explains her inspiration behind the ad campaign, saying, "I tried to create images to ‘fit’ the shapes of the dresses and match the particular fabrics. For example, I repeated the dress forms, the outlines or the shapes within the patterns themselves, the black lines, and the coloured stripes that are repeated in the fabrics of Delicate Shades."
