The Vivo X5Max is a 4.75-mm thick smartphone, developed by Chinese smartphone maker Vivo, that has taken the title of the world's thinnest smartphone. In addition to its scarcely believable thin structure, it also features a solid stainless steel construction and top-quality internal components.
The X5Max may be slim but it's not miniscule, and comes with a 5.5-inch 1,920 x 1,090 display with 400 pixels per inch. Its custom Android skin looks an awful lot like the iOS 8 and includes special quick settings that can be launched from swiping up from the bottom of the screen -- as is the case with iOS -- rather than swiping down from the top Android-style.
The Vivo X5Max is scheduled for release December 12, 2014 and will retail for about $486.
